Rain Soaked

The effects of tropical storm Cindy, are impacting our region.
Rain, rain, and more rain,  up to five inches of the stuff.
It's a dark and dreary day, the lamps are lit , the candles are glowing.
Two sweet kitties, are curled up on the porch.
The aroma of freshly baked banana bread fills the house.

Seems like a good day to bake. With the rain and the warm banana bread aroma, the house will be very comfy. So... yes, put the kettle on!

Sorry not much rain here in the UK, we're in the middle of a massive heatwave. 94F in London yesterday. Luckily I live in the North so it's not so bad here and I think it's starting to cool down everywhere now thank goodness.

Love the photographs, the rain on the flower is beautiful and I can almost smell that banana bread!

Here on the Little Red River we are expecting some of Cindy's rain, too. I got yardwork done yesterday I'm sure in time for the debris this storm with leave behind. Love your blog. Your pictures are very pretty. Thank you for sharing.

Our weather is effected by Cindy also. We have heavy torrents of rain rather than our normal ones. We did have a rain this morning while the sun was shinning. Go figure. I guess it was raining hard north of us and a small cloud was catching up.
