Getting My Wings Back

Yesterday I reached a milestone in my broken ankle recovery, being given the OK to once again drive a vehicle.
The last time I sat in the driver's seat was in early February, almost six months ago.
I'm still in the physical therapy program, but being able to drive myself to the facility has been a liberating experience.
I may not look ecstatic, but on the inside I'm giggling like a school girl.

That picture is a scream. I bet you are glad to be back in the saddle and you'll probably drive the wheels off that car.

I am sure it feels good to get back behind the wheel. I remember that feel when I first learned to drive and was out by myself.

Jo, I did not know you were taking so long to become yourself again. I pray you are feeling wonderful and getting around like before the mishap. I broke my ankle when I was younger and decided, I do not ever want to do that again.. LOL. Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie

Hooray for FREEDOM!

PS I just wore that hat to Sweetpea's Mothers' Day tea at school, with a huge pink paper rose I plucked out of an arrangement in the guest room. She was so proud.

That is wonderful!! I am so happy for you. Takes a lot of patience waiting to heal when we are used to doing everything for ourselves. That picture is so cute. I feel like I know that little lady. Take care.
