A Visit With The Easter Bunny

ALL I EVER NEEDED TO KNOW ABOUT LIFE I LEARNED FROM THE EASTER BUNNY

Don’t put all of your eggs in one basket.
Walk softly and carry a big carrot.
Everyone needs a friend who is all ears.
There’s no such thing as too much candy.
All work and no play can make you a basket case.
A cute little tail attracts a lot of attention.
Everyone is entitled to a bad hare day.
Let happy thoughts multiply like rabbits.
Some body parts should be floppy.
Keep your paws off other people’s jellybeans.
Good things come in small sugar-coated packages.
The grass is always greener in someone else’s basket.
An Easter bonnet can tame even the wildest hare.
To show your true colors – you have to come out of your shell.
The best things in life are still sweet and gooey.

Home Sweet Home

I left home in the depths of Winter, not under my own steam, I might add...
Now,  under the seasonal promise of new beginnings and rebirth, I have returned home just in time for Spring flowers and blue skies.
Thank you for all of your words of encouragement and kind wishes.. I have lots more work to do , before I'm walking on both legs once again.
I'm prepared for the road ahead, my spirit is renewed and my heart is happy.
*smile*

A dearer, sweeter spot than all the rest. "

Plodding Along

Just a little update on my recovery......
I'm still confined to the rehab center, so sadly not home yet.
My days are filled with therapies, physical, occupational, and respiratory, phew.
I'm still on non-weight bearing status, so not much progress on returning to walking yet.
I feel blessed to have such caring individuals involved with my daily routine, especially the ones who keep me supplied with cups of hot tea.
Thank you for all of the encouraging well-wishes, they truly brighten my day.
