Time Marches On

We've been blessed with glorious weather these past few days, sunshine and low-humidity, the two together, are rare as hen's teeth in these southern parts.

Summer days are just around the corner, farmer's markets are displaying their early crops, and school children are graduating and getting ready for summer respite.
Despite all the chaos we have endured throughout the past years, a sense of normalcy returns.
Hoping whichever little corner of the world you call "home"..... all is calm.

It is so beautiful there. The deer can't reach you hanging planters unless they come up on the porch. I just read that dear are repelled by salvia. That was a new one for me.

We too saw a few days of cooler weather... very pleasant, but today it's back to sitting in the oven. How wonderful that the Canadian Geese love your garden so much. It is nice to have calmness to enjoy nature.

All quiet here. Still cool. Revving up for a hot tourist season. Your little part of the world looks cool and colourful

Your pictures are just beautiful. You have such a pretty place. We have had about six days of unsettled weather. Rain or mist, windy, very little sun, and cool enough for a sweater at times. Hate to complain because the hot humid weather is just around the corner. It feels wonderful for things to be back to normal...almost anyhow.
