Simple Pleasures

Strawberry season has arrived here in Middle Tennessee.
Handpick your own, or buy by the basketful.
When I was a young girl, I was allergic to fresh strawberries.
Thank goodness, I outgrew that sensitivity.

They should be ripe here, too. I am going to have to check out our supply. Thanks for reminding me.

Please put the kettle on, Jo. I could use a cuppa and some strawberries and cream..

Those strawberries look delicious, Jo. I will have
to pick up a supply at the Farmer's market and get
some baking going. Just love the quotation... so true.

It is a beautiful sight. We grew strawberries when I was a kid on the farm. I don't eat many of them anymore.

I had some Spanish ones last week, but the English ones in season are unbeatable. Can't wait.

It is cold and rainy here and I saw your beautiful bowl of strawberries. I am going to put some in a bowl and snack on them. Thank you and thanks for all the pretty photos you have shared.
