August Days
August days are here.
Schoolchildren return to classes, the days now eerily quiet.
County fairs are in full swing, fun, food and frolic.
Summer days seem noticeably shorter. Brilliant sunsets, light up the night sky.
Jo, Our summer seems to be flying by. I have not enjoyed the terrible heat of this year. I try to look for pretty and fun things . My flowers did very well, as long as I remembered to water them. I do not get to see sun rises or sunsets here in town. Just rooftops...the plus of that , no snow right now. LOL It is still very pretty where you live. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
So happy to see that Mr. Flower Pot Man is still gracing your gardens...He is a favorite of mine. Summer has ebbed to the point of quietude and you captured that so well today...Enjoy the weekend.
