It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

A cold and wet start to our day, the perfect opportunity to finish up the last of the decorating, and spend the day list-ticking.

The hearth is lit, the tree is twinkling, hot chocolate is simmering.

We are under the dreaded tornado watch once again
Stay warm and safe dear friends....

Christmas is coming, the geese are getting fat
Please put a penny in the old man's hat
If you haven't got a penny, a ha'penny will do
If you haven't got a ha'penny, then God bless you!

~ Tradition English nursery rhyme

Your collection of Christmas decorations is so great. I enjoy your taste in items and your colors are always so rich. Silver serving pieces and English china are so beautiful. The cold keeps us inside and busy placing our favorite things on display.

Gorgeous Christmas treasures, Jo. I especially love the vintage Santa.
Your blog is something I look forward to reading especially at this time of year.
