The Nesting Season

The ground is soaked from a day of rain. Much needed rain, for which we are grateful.
I've been busy running errands today, ticking off my to-do list.
Hearty soups have now become the meal of choice.
Nights are noticeably cooler, and darkness falls before the clock strikes six.
Candlelight glows.
The nesting season begins.

We had two sunny days, but now it's raining again, and I hadn't yet gotten outside for my walk. Oh, well. There's always tomorrow! :-)

Hi Jo ~ I hoped you would not mind my sharing your wonderful masthead picture of the hedgehogs with my grandchildren. Brooke would
call hers Sticky...or Pinchy.. Getting ready for low 30's nightly
temps this week... Indeed, the time has come for nesting and snuggling.

It was still in the thirties this morning. Winter can't be too far off. It's hot Cream Of Wheat weather. You have a super day, hugs, Edna B.
