It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

A cold and wet start to our day, the perfect opportunity to finish up the last of the decorating, and spend the day list-ticking.
The hearth is lit, the tree is twinkling, hot chocolate is simmering.
Stay warm and safe dear friends....

Christmas is coming, the geese are getting fat
Please put a penny in the old man's hat
If you haven't got a penny, a ha'penny will do
If you haven't got a ha'penny, then God bless you!

~ Tradition English nursery rhyme

I love that teapot too! Your decorations are beautiful. I remember that poem from a long time ago. Old Man Winter just dumped a foot of snow on us. Oh goody goody. It's pretty, but it's a job moving it out of our way. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

Gosh! How beautiful! Could you bring a few things and make my home look like yours? Your pictures outdo even the old issues of Country Living. Love, Henny

That's a mighty 'nutcracker' you've got. I've only seen those about in ships here in the last few years . Pa rum pum pum pum

How lovely it all is, you have made everything look so warm and inviting. I do like your use of tartan, just right to welcome in a new year - I hope it will bring us all happier times.

You have so many pretty Christmas decoration scenes, I like those big white jingle bells and how you have light playing on the objects. It makes it look cozy.
