Jo, I love the fiery cloud shots. When one can sit at home and watch the fog drifting around it's mysterious. ..but if you have to drive in it, oh my gosh, it's scary. I am never ready to release my gripe on summer. I want it to stay longer. Blessings, be safe. xoxo, Susie
My Grandmother always told me to count the number of morning fogs in August and that is how many snowfalls you will have. So far here in Southern Illinois we've only had two foggy mornings.
Beautiful sky photos. I love that crepe myrtle tree. (Is that what it is?) The rose of sharon (hibiscus) is just gorgeous. As much as I can't handle the heat of the summer, and I do love the Fall, the fact that winter is coming makes me sad. I love the spring and autumn most. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.
I love how the dew from fog reveals where all the spider webs are. Lovely photos.
I appreciate your eye for beauty!
OH my word, your photographs are incredible! Everyone one is pure beauty! Great post, thank you for sharing!Nancy
Gorgeous flowers, and wonderful photos! There is weather lore that says August fogs predict winter snows. We have never found much truth to that, however.
I am a fan of fog, and of gentle rain as well. I love those cloud pictures; they remind me of the immensity of our beautiful sky. :-)
Your photographs are just glorious!!! You do such a wonderful job. I hope you have a great night- Diana
Digging that crape myrtle... wow!!!
Your first photo So like Fellini's scene in Amarcord.
Such lovely photos! I haven't seen signs of fall at all, but the dog days of summer, seen lots of that. Oh, wait. I believe I heard that Starbucks is bringing pumpkin spice back to the menu.
I am so impressed with your photos; you have a definite talent. I look forward to your posts.
Each photo are so wonderful. The clouds were perfect for a few snaps. The fog is a strange effect in your yard.
