An altered look about the hills;
A Tyrian light the village fills;
A wider sunrise in the dawn;
A deeper twilight on the lawn;
A print of a vermilion foot;
A purple finger on the slope;
A flippant fly upon the pane;
A spider at his trade again;
An added strut in chanticleer;
A flower expected everywhere ..."

You've captured the loveliness of spring emerging.
We're calmly (?) waiting for the season to transform in Michigan.

Just found your blog through "Eagleton Notes" blog... I am a New Yorker who lived for years in Nashville! Don't know how long you've been in TN, but wondered if you'd ever known the "Sherlock Holmes Pub" in Nashville, back in the early '90s? Best pub in America (run by Brits, of course)... sadly closed down for some years now.

Love your blog, and am adding it to my blog list! Pop around to mine sometime if you ever feel like some added crazy would be a good thing. Mind, recently things have got a bit weird, but for the most part I stay upbeat, and gardening is totally one of my "things".

You too have a wonderful display of color with the sun. I saw a few on other blogs that I follow. I really like seeing what is going on in your yard.
