Early Autumn Days

These early days of Autumn, a little decorating, a little gardening, a little relaxing.                       Nights are drawing in fast, dark before the clock strikes seven now.

Our days are still seasonally warm, in these Southern United States, giving the opportunity to finish those end of summer chores, before Old Man Winter sets in.

Kiddies are worried their Halloween trick-or-treating may be a "no go" this year, life as we knew it....on hold.

It went by too fast Jo. I am missing our beautiful green summertime. I truly hope I get things done before winter. :) I see you have a nice candle and a warm cup of tea to enjoy as evening comes. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

All four seasons have special things to look forward to. I was happy to here Halloween is not being cancelled here in our town.

What a cute teapot, Jo! I’m just hoping everyone is able to be safe and stay well. If that means trick or treating is on hold, then that’s the way it will have to be. Our county has now surpassed 10,000 cases and reports 80 deaths at this point. Looking forward to enjoying cozy evenings!

Pretty sure Halloween is cancelled here.
Love your photos.

Your little teapot is so sweet Jo! It is quickly becoming tea weather for sure. Enjoy these last weeks of warmth. I fear the cold but am happy to be able to still have many more seasons ahead of me!

This is my favorite time of the year, but I understand how many people get depressed when they see the days growing so much shorter. They will come back around again before we know it. Love your pretty pictures, Jo. :-)

I don't like that it gets dark so early and already I am missing the summer days. It seemed to go by so quickly. But like you we have warm weather still so I can spend some time outdoors. Love your Jack-o-lantern tea pot. It seems Halloween is cancelled everywhere but we can still decorate.

The grandkids are all coming here for a Halloween hunt just like Easter, we will give them flashlights and turn them lose in the nighttime gardens within the safety of our fences.

Like all the seasons, early fall is so pretty at your place. I love the cart filled with flowers. I've got to get busy cleaning up the garden.

Jo, I love autumn, and your photos are gorgeous! I especially like the one with the wheel in front of the white picket fence. Enjoy the season and stay safe!

What a beautiful little pumpkin teapot. What house is it that is in the photo? I'm intrigued. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

Your purple coneflowers are holding up well. Mine are gone already.

Ms.Edna, I'm not sure of the house, it's a primitive print.

Fall does bring some great things. I like to settle in and drink fresh coffee. It is still warm enough to work outside with a coat.
