Returning

The porch rails have been replaced, how I've missed them !
This is our third set of rails, the spindles are custom turned and made from beautiful Western Cedar wood, shipped in from North Dakota.
The painters show up tomorrow, not the best timing, with a hurricane lingering in the atmosphere.
Tom-Tilly is one happy little camper, they give her just enough privacy to watch over her domain, yet deter adventurous visitors from disturbing her naps.
That unusually means a  naughty squirrel or two.

Jo, I love your porch. When we moved out here in the country, there were many cats about. The fellow down the road had a cat for each section of railing on his porch. I was amazed. We rarely see cats any more around here...the coyotes must be the reason. So sad. The cat's were what is called barn cats. Glad you Tom-Tilly can get some summertime naps on the porch. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

Such a beautiful porch! It must be so soothing to sit out on your porch and enjoy the beauty around you. I can see why Tom-Tilly enjoys the view through the spindles. Smart kitty kat! You have a super day, hugs, Edna B.

The rails are beautiful, Jo. Looks like the storm will go north of us here, I hope it stays away from you all too. If not please stay safe.

Your porch is beautiful! We are going to enclose our little front porch in porch railing and we were wondering if we could find cedar railing, since our log home is cedar. Right now the porch is enclosed in wire fencing, just something to keep Eli from wandering off. Hope we can make it as pretty as your's looks.
