In A Pickle

My sweet daughter has worked at the same company over the past thirty years.
This summer her job was no longer.
She's enjoying taking care of her little hobby farm, and has found a new talent....canning.
From pencil-pusher to pickle-packer and lots more.
Bread and butter pickles and I can't stop devouring them 🙂

Hey, that's awesome! I've always said that no matter how far advanced technology gets, when the alpaca-lips arrives, it's the hand-crafters and homesteaders and gardeners and DIY-ers who are going to survive, because WE KNOW HOW TO ACTUALLY DO STUFF. When you're in a pickle... MAKE PICKLES!

I know the feeling of not being able to stop eating something scrumptious like those pickles! Sorry to hear about her job, but it looks like she is making good use of her talents anyway. :-)

Jo, Those are my favorites. :) Your daughter has been busy. I have never canned anything in my life. But I truly admire people who do. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

As they say one door closes and another opens. They look remarkable no wonder you can't stop eating them.

They certainly look tasty! Finding a new skill during a pandemic... it is happening everywhere. I hope she can find a new form of income and meaning in her gardening skills. Fresh, locally grown produce is the BEST!
