Simple Pleasures

Strawberry season has arrived here in Middle Tennessee.
Handpick your own, or buy by the basketful.
When I was a young girl, I was allergic to fresh strawberries.
Thank goodness, I outgrew that sensitivity.

"As the years pass, I am coming more and more to understand that it is the common, everyday blessings of our common everyday lives for which we should be particularly grateful."

I do like Laura Ingalls Wilder, it was all about the small things of everyday life. Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans. John Lennon. Have a wonderful week and keep safe.

They look lovely:) One of the things I've come to appreciate during the lockdown- the colours of fruit.

I've eaten my weight in strawberries in the last month since they've been available at our local curb market. This year, however, I've bought chocolate dip. Simply pleasurable.
