The Turning Of The Leaf

Finally, a little Autumn color has crept in.
Just in time for a blustery wind, to blanket the ground with autumn brilliance.
Raking leaves now sits at the top of the "to-do" list.
And two portly kitties spend their days chasing them.

...I see
the turning of a leaf
dancing in an autumn sun,
and brilliant shades of crimson
glowing when a day is done...

Such wonderful brilliance. And it's probably a good thing for your kitties are getting some exercise. :-)

Jo, I loved seeing all your pictures. It seemed to take some time for the color and no time for the leaves to fall. I rake a bit today. Better do more tomorrow. Stay warm, Blessings, xoxo, Susie

Where you live is so beautiful! I always love seeing your pictures. Fall makes me feel invigorated and so cozy in my home and that's the feeling I get from your pictures.

Such pretty fall colors. We still have lots more brown leaves than colored leaves. That long dry spell, I think, really hurt. We've never had so many pine needles fall either. You have a beautiful yard.

Love your fall trees. We had a short fall leaf season. We did not have enough rain to change the colors. Usually we have a long pretty season.

Your yard is full of so many beautiful colors. It must be wonderful to sit out on the porch and take in all this gorgeous Autumn display. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

There are so many beautiful colors in you photos. Fall is a great time of the year. It is when the snow starts to fall that I have to adjust to all that white.
