Fall Back

This coming Sunday at 2 am our semi-annual clock fiddling takes place once again.
An hour backwards from Daylight Saving Time, affording an extra hour of sleep on these colder mornings.
Just enough time to remind us, that the year is winding down, and soon, a long sleepy winter will be our companion.
A time to regenerate our weary souls, and make new plans for the coming year ahead.
A time to dream.

I will have more light when I walk to the bus, for a few weeks anyway, but it will be so dark in the evenings that nobody will want to venture out much. At least I won't, but will sit around with a good book and enjoy a bit of hibernating. :-)

Thank you for the reminder. I knew it was coming, but I forgot all about it. Have a super day, hugs, Edna B.

Hooray! My favorite time of year. It's so nice to "find" your blog again . . . I think I've been reading it at least since 2007 when I started blogging. You always have something lovely to share.

Jo, I loved when you said clock fiddling...made me laugh. My mother hating changing times. She had a wall clock in her living room that she just left on the same time. No springing ahead or falling back for her. LOL She just didn't care about time. Blessings to you, stay's windy and cold here. xoxo, Susie

Except in California, as they voted to have daylight savings ALL year long. As my bro said “gotta have daylight when having your after-work cocktail by the pool”!!! Renita in NC
