Heat-Lover

The Crepe Myrtle bushes are in full bloom, their flowers will put on this show for the better part of a month.
The bees and Hummingbirds are drawn to their huge Watermelon Red blooms.
They love the summer heat, I have offered them my portion.

Have you ever seen such big beautiful blooms on a tree! A crepe myrtle is one thing I wish we had planted years ago. We just don't have a good place for one. Yours are so pretty!

I have always loved the crepe myrtle. It is so beautiful. We don't have them up here in New England, but I do love seeing your photos. You have a great day, hugs, Edna B.

So beautiful! Ours is a white one and in full bloom as well. They are so beautiful both here and in town.

I remember this shrub. It really is giving you an abundant amount of blooms. I suppose the variety wouldn’t survive our extreme cold. The color is so striking and pure.
