Winter Days

Our days have been much milder than typical Winter days, well into the sixties. The Iris shoots are popping out of the warm soil, I trust they know that Winter is a fickle friend, and despite affording us spectacular sunsets, colder weather, is just around the corner.

We too have been having skies like this one. We too go from very cold to abnormal warm. My grass is looking better with the moisture and warmer weather. The sky you have here is really a dramatic one.

Such a beautiful sky! Your blog is just full of beautiful pictures!

Our bluebonnets are sprouting above ground, to many to cover should another freeze make it. I think the other plants I see are larkspur as well. Along with many thistles I can't dig this year.
