Long-Awaited

Our trusty weatherman has predicted we'll be finally experiencing some Fall-like weather this week.
No more of the ninety degree days, but temperatures much cooler, and  seasonal.
I can't wait to open the windows at night, enjoy the crisp air, and fall asleep to the sound of the screech owl calling.
*ahhh*

Hope it's coming our way, up here in New England!

It is raining today Jo and cooler temps this week. I sat on the back porch and watched a mother squirrel gathering the nuts I laid on the porch. She picked up the almonds and ran off with each to bury for winter. The pecans and walnuts she ate on the spot. My eagle eyed weenies watched for a time then chased her. She keeps coming back though.

That was from me Jo. (Donna@Gather). Still having problems with comments and not going to jump through all the hoops and risk messing up my computer and cell phone. And, don't even know how to.

A normal fall would be great. I like you illustration with the bunnies all tucked into be. The bunny slippers are fun to see in the scene.

I just wanted to say I love the picture you chose for your post today! I'm a sucker for rabbits. I'm in Ontario and we are in a tiny little heat wave right now - humid and warm! -Jenn

We've had beautiful fall weather for a week until today; back to the hot muggy stuff. No thanks. I hope you enjoy those crisp fall days soon.

Jo, That does sound so good. No more AC for awhile. Hopefully no heat either. LOL. My husband plans on wearing long pants to golf tomorrow. It's to be 48 in the morn. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

The last two days, here in northwest Indiana, the temperatures were in the mid-80s and quite warm. People were at the beach and enjoying themselves as if it was mid-July. Today it's cooler and raining, with downright cold temperatures forecast for the rest of this week and into the next. The wheel of change is turning in full swing. :) Lovingly, Andrea xoxo

Well it sure cooled down here today. It was pretty perfect yesterday. We took a drive and I got to see the salmon leaping. I am so looking forwards to this cooler weather. It went into the low 40s today and would have been good for working outside but it was wet
Guess I am never happy haha...........enjoy the cool and hope that storm does not head your way

Good morning! I slept snuggled under a quilt with my windows wide open just like the bunnies in the picture. It was wonderful! Hoping the hot temps are gone for the year but here in Arkansas, as in many other states, there is no guarantee of that! I remember one Thanksgiving where our kids swam on day and it snowed the next! Be that as it may, I intend to enjoy this blessing, have a cup of tea, and maybe even the first fire of the season. Prayers for the victims of Michael.
