Holding On

Despite a lovely wet spring, our summer months have been dry.
Rainfall has been scarce and the trees are showing early signs of Autumn.
Tennessee has some of the most spectacular Autumn palettes, I can't help but imagine this year the leaves will have already fallen off the branches, once the cooler weather arrives.
*Sigh*

We have been dry here in South Texas too, dry but oh so hot. I hope you get some more rain soon!

Nice and green here in the north. I love the fall colors and cooler weather, but not the cold!

Jo, I have noticed some leaves changing around here. I think the draught has hurt many trees. We seem to be making up for rainless days. The next four here has rain in the weather predictions. Blessings for a nice weekend , xoxo, Susie

I'm always anxious to travel to Western NC in the Fall to see the color! Everything looks beautiful where you live!

I wonder if autumn will come earlier here. I would love that. Back to liveable temps.
We have high winds here now. Leaves are either getting blown off....or burnt off

Fall. I adore Fall. But summer is not allowed to quit yet. Rain would extend it nicely. And that Passion Flower pic was fabulous!!

Yes, we too have hand a drought for a long time. The ten inch rain really didn’t fix things for the rest of the summer.
