Unrelenting

Rain has finally ceased, and summer has once again returned to the hot and humid days, we are all so familiar with in these southern United States.
A Steel Magnolia's kind of day, with ladies sitting on the front porch, fan in hand, and sipping cold lemonade by the gallon.
The Boston Ferns are now huge, and offer some shade in the unrelenting sun.
Man and beast are content to just sit and vegetate.

It is so pretty there! Your porch looks perfect for sitting with a glass of lemonade. Looks like Oliver cat enjoys it. That sky picture is amazing too!

I have read that the entire central and eastern part of the country is in a heat wave. We are still wearing jackets during the day! It's in the mid-sixties and perfect for me. Love your pictures. :-)

We had a ten inch rain last weekend and it just couldn’t find a place for all the water. We live on a hill and we survived but thousands lost many things in their basement.
