Time For Tea

A Cup of Tea

When the world is all at odds
And the mind is all at sea
Then cease the useless tedium
And brew a cup of tea.

There is magic in its' fragrance,
There is solace in its' taste;
And then laden moments vanish
Somehow into space.

And the world becomes a lovely thing!
There's beauty as you'll see;
All because you briefly stopped
To brew a cup of tea.

Wish we were sharing a pot of tea right now, my friend. I think my blahs would be instantly gone. Have a wonderful evening. Lovingly, Andrea xoxo

Love the poem. You always have such outstanding photos and now you'd added a lovely poem to go with the teapot. Great job.

Jo, I love the teapot and that sweet poem. I know the tea you drink is way better that the tea I brew. I like it stronger than I achieve. Blessings for a beautiful Sunday. xoxo, Susie

Strong or weak to steep it,
A matter of personal taste,
Every sip a savoured joy,
With not a drop to waste.

Some prefer a mellow brew,
For others strong’s the best,
My father said a good cup of tea,
Should put hairs upon your chest.

Whether sipped from a china cup,
Or an ordinary mug,
One thing is a certainty,
Tea should never be chugged.

For those who like this tincture,
None will disagree,
The nicest way to start the day,
Is with a cup of tea.
