Batten Down The Hatches

The wind is blowing a gale.
Birds are literally flying sideways.
Each time I look out of the window, the windmill is turning a hundred miles an hour, if only I knew how to convert that energy into electricity, my utilities would be free for a month !
It's a balmy 74 degrees today, in February, we are headed for a night of thunderstorms, and more wind.
And it's not even March.

Like the old folks say: February doesn't have weather of its own. It borrows from January and March.

I can believe the rain but the temperatures are so warm. I guess your sort of a southern state but 74 seems impossible. With that team here, we would develop a big storm. Take care and stay safe.

74 degrees sounds delicious but the wind not so much! We are close to 50 up here in New Hampshire, in February! I won't complain though since it's been such a miserably depressingly cold and dreary winter so far. With the warm temps we are currently experiencing mud season, ugh! Hope the storms don't knock out your electricity!
Hugs for now from not so brrrrr New Hampshire...

Oh boy, stay safe, Jo! 74 degrees... I can hardly imagine. When temperatures aren't "normal" I think it does make for storms and such. Sending wind-calming vibes your direction! Love~ Andrea xxx

Jo, The temps are shocking. It's rained all day long here. Six more to go. I am praying we do not have floods...my biggest fear from weather. It does seem like spring a bit. Stay safe. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

We are getting sunshine today and it is warm but
the rains coming back and so is the cold.
My bulbs are jumping up out of the ground and the
robins are back.

74 degrees!!... what is the norm where you are? It was in the high 40's in Connecticut today, felt practically like spring! We're in mud season at the moment, although it's still winter.

We would like to be enjoying temps in the 70s! Must be nice to get out in your yard. Snow is all melted; we are just waiting for the next storm. And thank you for the welcome back. I jut needed a break and missed my friends. -:)
