Winter Nesting

We've had the strangest warm weather the past few days.
Here it is, the middle of Winter and the temperature reached a balmy 66 degrees yesterday, folks were running around town, in shorts and flip-flops !
Friday we are in for a taste of winter, our first snow of the season, and temperatures down in the thirties, time to pull out those scarves and gloves once again.
A good excuse to stay home, indulge in tea and biscuits, and some rather lovely reading material.

There is such charm in your home, that I wish I could visit, and maybe have a cup of tea! You have a beautiful home.

That is amazingly warm and a little disconcerting, I imagine. Fortunately (?) the normal weather looks like it will return soon. :-)

We're getting milder weather too, but that means a couple of degrees above freezing.

Another one on its way today - oh how I hate winter. But, I am enjoying Escape To The Country. It is helping me to know Uk's many counties. So far, I like Leistershire and Dorset best. I would have to be somewhere drier though when they were looking in Wales, I saw nary a drop of rain, but lots of dark clouds.

Jo, Oh yes, you will be safe and cozy right in your own home. Praying none of us loses power. Our weather and temperatures are all over the place. I would love some of your good tea... I never know what kind to buy. LOL. Blessings to you, stay warm, xoxo, Susie

For some people that would be a heatwave. Those kinds of magazines have wonderful interiors for you to see.
