In Anticipation

The freezing weather has taken a toll on the wild birds, there are days when not even a single bird visits the feeders. I can only hope our feathered friends, are hunkered down in their cozy nests keeping snug.

Several Christmas's ago, my husband gave me a gorgeous hand-painted piece of glass, featuring all native Tennessee birds, and a Morning Glory vine weaving it's way through an old weathered rail-fence.

Throughout cold winter months it's a perfect reminder of what beauty will soon be returning, when warmer days reappear.

I hope the birds are all right. Let's send them our prayers and wishes for survival. :-(

That is a beautiful piece of glass. It's perfect for you! I worry too about the birds. It's just miserable outside.

The birds on your glass painting are beautiful. I wish I had one! Thanks for your blog. I have been enjoying it for a long time and am just now getting my own blog set up. Thanks for the inspiration! Phil/Minnesota

I too worry but I haven’t been here over a year to see their behaviors. I just think that I should have more birds. I don’t see anyone in my neighbor that is feeding them. I have always admired the glass window of birds.
