Pottering Days

Ooh, it's been a glorious day......
A breezy porch-sitting day.
The temperatures have warmed, not too much though, the kind of day, where you can wear your flip-flops without getting cold feet.
A day to busy myself doing chores, and putting a summer's garden to rest.
Pumpkin bread bakes, the aroma is intoxicatingly delicious, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger.

Autumn, a favorite season.

These azalea bloom in spring and fall. We have warmed up and keeps
saying rain coming.

Blasts of cold here in Central Illinois while still working on our barn. But tomorrow in the 60's again. Hope to wear my flip flops in the garden as well! Beautiful photo as always.

Jo, I love the smells of baking pumpkin breads. My daughters are all good bread bakers. It was nice enough to sit out on the porch for a bit today. I know there may not be many more warm days like this. The leaves are falling enough though they did not reach the peak color. Hope your weekend is a wonderful rest time. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

I love fall too. I love how light changes and our appetites turn to comfort foods. Dianne
