Making A Start

The Christmas decorating has begun.
A little here, a little there, and before you know it, the house is transformed with the magic of Christmas.
Later this evening, the tree will get decorated, sparkly faerie lights, dried apples and orange slices, baubles and red wooden-bead garlands.
Rust-colored Christmas bells, and  grape-vine mini wreaths.
Ornaments from seasons past,  reminding of treasured memories.

The hearth is lit, and the hot chocolate is simmering.
Two portly felines watch with interest.
"Tis the season.

In our old farmhouse I used to put a tree in every room. Then we downsized and the grain bin house won't support a full size tree, so I'm putting a couple just outside our mudroom entrance! Keep the pictures coming of your home decorations. Your place is so pretty.

JO, It is the season. Hope you got much done. My daughter Angie has all hers done but the tree. That girl amazes me. I may start later this week. I did get the fall d├ęcor down. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

I am encourage that you have started. We finished off three days with grandsons so we are not physically able to do it yet. Maybe by Wednesday I can get one of our trees up to get us motivated to do it.
