Nesting Days.

The ground is soaked from a day of rain. Much needed rain, for which we are grateful.
I've been busy running errands today, ticking off my to-do list.
Hearty soups have now become the meal of choice.
Nights are noticeably cooler, and darkness falls before the clock strikes six.
Candlelight glows.
The nesting season begins.

So pretty and we might get a freeze. Have to put my citrus up.

It's a good time of year, regardless of the inconveniences.

The nesting season begins.....love that idea! We go off daylight saving this weekend so days will become much shorter.
Still raining here. You got a good soaking!

So true! My candles are lit most evenings, and Chet Baker keeps me company while I putter around my cozy house.
