Boxing Day

Oliver cat was not impressed by his army of catnip-filled mice.
Nor by the bag of designer Christmas treats which forced us to re-mortgage the house in order to purchase.
However, the cardboard box that it was delivered in, simply tickled him pink.
Happy Boxing Day.....

How true! Give a cat a box and he's a happy camper. Happy Boxing day!

We had so much fun this year picking out little treats and toys for our new kitten .... and all he wanted to do was hide in the boxes and jump out at the pups! Next year .... just boxes for Kylo!!

Isn't that the way it is with kids and kitties; they always enjoy the box more than the toy. Even our old feral cat, Mo, loves to play in boxes--when he is channeling his domestic side. Happy New Year.

Oliver knows a good thing when he sees it. The true meaning of Boxing Day. My first cat, Fluffy, loved boxes so much. Even if she couldn't quite fit, she would squeeze herself in and let whatever was left hang over the side. It made for some funny pictures.

What a purrrrrfect picture and post, for Boxing Day!!!

I lovvvvvve it!!!!!!

Son/daughter in law's/kid's cats, next door, were very impressed with their catnip. 'Lucy' fell in love with a bottle of seltzer water and wrapped her 'arms' around it, to gaze at the bubbles. 'Lucky' simply gazed into space, in a contented manner.

Cats are just like children they like the boxes better than the presents.

Mine loved the wrapping paper too.

That it too funny. I can relate. For years I wanted my cat to have her own cat tower, and a really nice fancy-pants one too. One Christmas I decided to make that one of my presents; a cat tower for my cat.

Well, come present time my completely cat ignored it. (Both cats actually. I knew one of them would ignore it, but her... I really thought she'd love it). For over a year I tried getting her interested in that thing. I finally gave it away because it was just taking up space.

And cats d love boxes. I always say that if a cat sneaks out of the house and is missing, just put a cardboard box outside. They'll surely turn up. Lol!

Goodness do I miss having a cat!!!!
