Bringing Home The Tree

A lovely little surprise Christmas gift, courtesy of our local Cracker Barrel restaurant.
Tucked away neatly inside our order, a salt and pepper old fashioned  'Woody'......Bringing Home The Tree.
We felt like the Griswolds.

That's a really nice present. Not tacky plastic stuff.

Just watched the National Lampoon Christmas Vacation. Again! Still makes me laugh.

That is so cute! We are meeting our daughter and son-in-law, Sunday at Cracker Barrel. I know what I will be ordering...pecan pancakes. No matter the time of day. :)

What a pretty thing. I loved Cracker Barrel when I was in America. Beautiful food and great atmosphere.

Thank you for your comment on my "POUT" post. Thank you so much.

You look at blogs, on your phone!!!! I know a lot of people do, but I can't imagine how. Not for my old eyes, anyway. :-) And on a phone, would make commenting hard.

For me, I read, see the whole blog page (yours is so lovely!), and comment... On my iMac computer. I post from there, also. I am a very long time blogger. I continue to do, as I always have done.

For me, it's the only way I can appreciate all the work, which goes into everyone's blog looks, and really seeeee blogged photos, and words, etc. And I know that blogging is work. A lovely blog page, does not materialize, all by itself!

I don't have a Smart Phone (just an old cell phone.. My husband and I only use them, between ourselves, when out shopping, etc.) I do my Instagram, on my large Galaxy (guess that's a "pad"?). That way, again, I can appreciate all the IG's photos, which I follow.

Yes, IG is easy. A photo and a bit of words, about the photo. And one can "appreciate" others, with a "like." But even there, I leave a lot of short comments. More personal, that way.

Yes, I am old fashioned!!!!!!! -grin-

If you to to IG, I hope you will list the link, on the TOP of your sidebar, so people who like your blog, can follow you to there!
