Tea Time

A Cup of Tea

When the world is all at odds
And the mind is all at sea
Then cease the useless tedium
And brew a cup of tea.

There is magic in its' fragrance,
There is solace in its' taste;
And then laden moments vanish
Somehow into space.

And the world becomes a lovely thing!
There's beauty as you'll see;
All because you briefly stopped
To brew a cup of tea.

A sweet little poem and I can attest that the sentiments are true!
You always feel better after sipping a cup of tea!

you just made me think of my mother, and how she and I used to make a pot of tea every evening, just about 7pm.......I miss her so.
I still have my cuppa, but it's not the same

Love this little poem! I am going to copy this and print out to post by my computer. Such a great reminder of why I love to have a cup of tea (or two) throughout the work day. . .Thank you!

That makes we want a cup of tea! I would not sleep a wink, drinking tea at 9:15. The pictures in your last post are simply beautiful!

Yes, definitely. I drink tea (loose leaf black teas) at least eight times a day. My kettle barely has time to cool off! And unlike previous commenter Henny Penny, it doesn't interfere with my sleep at all. Must be genetic - my mum and grandmother were the same way.
