May The Road Rise Up To Meet You

A dear friend painstakingly cross-stitched this timeless Irish blessing for me several years ago.
I grew up hearing this prayer and seeing it grace the walls of many homes.
It's words have always been a favorite of mine, encouraging peace and good fortune into one's life.
From my little corner of the world.....to yours.

Just beautiful, Jo. I've always loved this blessing, too. I have a kit for this cross-stitch that I got years ago; I really need to sit down and do it. It would be so pretty on our wall!

Thanks for sharing and have a good week!

Big hugs,

Denise

Beautiful blessing. My husband and I are two of the few English-speaking South Africans in our part of the world who know this prayer. Thanks for sharing. Greetings, Jo

I've heard the beginning of this but never heard the whole thing. Thank you, just lovely!

A simply exquisite rendering of one of my favorite blessings.

I do not speak much when I drop in, but I do delve and drench and drown in your comforting prose and wonderful photos. You've taken both your "homes" and made a sublime amalgam of the lush and green and flowered and welcoming and old thatched and secret gardens and far vistas of the best of both.

I enter smiling in anticipation and leave content.

It is a wonderful piece. My wife has a mug with just the first verses on it.
