Turkey Talk

I happened upon this Johnson Brothers Barnyard King plate at one of the local antique shops several years ago.
One plate all by itself, I could only imagine what an entire dinner service would have looked like.

I'm going to display it for the Thanksgiving season, the colors on this picture do not do the piece justice, they are all hand engraved and made in England.

Barnyard King, what could be a more fitting name.

This is so pretty; I LOVE Johnson Brothers dishes. I have the Johnson Bros. "His Majesty" pattern; I got a really good deal on a set a few years ago. They're not made in England (I wish they were) and I think the colors in yours are nicer. :)

Enjoy looking at it during the holidays and have a great week!

That turkey plate is gorgeous. I also love it for autumn and Christmas. Do you really have more of them?

Jo, That would be a wonderful thing to own a whole set of these dishes. I love dishes....just have to stop buying them. I have given many to my daughters. I am wishing you and your family a blessed Thanksgiving . xoxo,Susie

I would love to own a set. How beautiful! One plate would probably be more than I could afford.

That was a lucky find, Jo. That pattern at Replacements is very pricey! It is just perfect to use now!

It is a wonderful plate. I enjoy having plates like this that get sold individually. The plate has a lot of history I am sure.
