And The Rains Came

An unexpected  rainfall fell last night, filling the creeks and streams to capacity.
We had horrendous winds, and today the sound of chainsaws filled the air, cleaning up all the broken tree limbs and even large trees.
The temperatures have lowered to an almost perfect summer day.
A little bit of peace and serenity, in an otherwise chaotic world.

That is a lovely picture. It seems we have a lot of storms of late.

It has been a summer of storms for us too. When so many are praying for rain, I try to not complain about it, and like you see its beauty and remain grateful.

I hope you are doing well, and are enjoying your summer.

We had rainfall Wednesday afternoon, though our lower temperatures are not expected until tonight. We could actually use more rain.

Those are really nice pictures, Jo.

Summer storms seem to be making their way across the country. Now our days are not and late afternoons the thunderstorms move in to cool things off. I really like your stream video.

We have a rather dry summer here and need some rain. This picture looks so refreshing with the streaming water. Beautiful!

Sorry about the storms...but I could look at that flowing water all day! Lovely!

We drove through a terrible storm on the way up to the Smoky Mountains on Wednesday, Jo. Thunder, lightning, rain and hail. Whew! I think lots of places needed the rain, though, so I'm sure the soil was glad for a good drink of water. :)

Have a lovely weekend!

That looks so inviting. I'd love to dip my toes in there.

Going to be 100 here today and I've been watering all morning. Love the stream. Is it on your property? It's beautiful.

So fun to see that stream flowing. I don't know how you do that!
Sorry about the wind damage to the trees.

Beautiful scene. You almost got too much rain. We could use some now. We did get a 1/3 of an inch...needed more. Blessings for a great weekend, xoxo,Susie

It is difficult to receive rains with damage involved. We had a nice gentle rain the other night which was so unusual for us.
