Beautiful !!! Here Summer seems to have just begun. We are having very high temps 30 to 35 degrees celsius, after a July and beginning of August filled with rain. Have a great day.
Just love your Lupines?. I am so happy to have come here, it is always a blessing. I have been away too long, 2 moves out of state, a new grandbaby, and so much more. We are in Florida now. We keep wondering how it would be in tn. I love the ocean but miss the Character of the homes up north. HOw is it? For some reason I have lost all of my profile and it says Blogger needs a new up date?.. No music or anything on mine. Help? Thank you. Darlene xo

A British expat transplanted into the lush Tennessee countryside.
Wife, mother, grandma.
The other character in this plot, being Oliver the cat, gingerness and aloof.
I'm a lover of old. Time-worn, antiques, quilts, primitives, heirloom pieces, potting sheds, English literature, poetry, Battenburg lace, blue willow, cottages, white ironstone dishes, English transferware, worn-out picket fences, teapots, old bird houses, moss-covered clay pots, gardening, all creatures great and small.

Everyone has a bit of sadness when summer begins to wane, but it will come again! Thanks for the lovely picture and words...
The blues are so beautiful.
Amazing pictures. We've been having some long awaited for rain. I'm hoping for a final burst of color from the flowers before they fade away.

Yes, our garden is beginning to have that "August look," and the sweet potatoes are ready to harvest.
I can always count on you to put into words what my heart is longing to say.
