Summer's Waning

" When summer gathers up her robes of glory, and like a dream of beauty glides away. "
~Sarah Helen Power Whitman

The flowers are fading fast.
What remains are mostly wildflowers and perennials.
Autumn gardening chores patiently wait.

Beautiful !!! Here Summer seems to have just begun. We are having very high temps 30 to 35 degrees celsius, after a July and beginning of August filled with rain.
Have a great day.

Amazing pictures. We've been having some long awaited for rain. I'm hoping for a final burst of color from the flowers before they fade away.

Yes, our garden is beginning to have that "August look," and the sweet potatoes are ready to harvest.

Just love your Lupines?.
I am so happy to have come here, it is always a blessing. I have been away too long, 2 moves out of state, a new grandbaby, and so much more. We are in Florida now. We keep wondering how it would be in tn. I love the ocean but miss the Character of the homes up north. HOw is it?
For some reason I have lost all of my profile and it says Blogger needs a new up date?.. No music or anything on mine. Help? Thank you.
