Weaving Their Way

The Morning Glory vines are winding their tendrils along the garden fence, at an alarming rate.
I plant them early in the Summer each year, and for the past three years, they've graced us with Heavenly Blue blooms from Mid July until late October.
This year, we seem to be sharing them with the grasshoppers, who have very little else to munch on.

Lovely. Our garden is fried with the heat and drought :(

Pretty ! We are doing all we can to salvage our gardens by watering every evening at dusk in this heat wave and no rain for a week and a half and no rain is in the forcast any time soon ! . Our Morning glories never returned this year ! Have a good day !

Pretty! Next year I'm going to try growing morning glories on a trellis (especially if my clemitis doesn't do well).

Very pretty, Jo.

My husband has been watching the weather systems this afternoon, and he predicts rain will touch many areas of the state very soon.:) I hope it will be enough to help other food sources for the grasshoppers.

Gorgeous.... I don't have any Morning Glory here ---and you are convincing me that we need to get some... I'd have to get a trellis since we don't have a fence... BUT--I do love them... Thanks!!!
Hugs,
Betsy--who is waiting for rain I HOPE

Delicate, feminine, charming and invasive... in a good way! I love them! And they drop baby seeds wherever they travel.
