A Token Of Love

My sweet grandson is in the National FFA whilst in his junior year of high school.
The National FFA Organization (also known as Future Farmers of America) is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.

Each year, the students manage the greenhouse, growing and marketing plants, and vegetables. The funds they raise help send the members to Statewide and Nationwide conventions.

My daughter stopped by the greenhouse this morning, when I looked out onto the porch, she had left me a little treat.
It's good to share.

Those look so much better than what you can buy at Lowe's Or Home Depot. Lucky you!
And yes, please put the kettle on and we'll all have tea! (Hopefully, with some English biscuits!)

The FFA is a wonderful organization, and your grandson's group obviously have very green thumbs.

My favourite flowers - geraniums. I know what the others are too, but I can't remember the name of them?
Have fun choosing where to put them all
Good on your grandson for being so GREEN!

Wow--what a nice 'treat'... I love Geraniums --and they are the one flower which deer don't like...

Good for your grandson... I wish more young teens would take an interest in gardening/environmental things...

Hugs,
Betsy

I love the FFA. Our local high school does the same thing with the plant sale. I love it. The hanging baskets are always so healthy and I buy lots and lots of geraniums. Your daughter is a sweetie, she knows what her mother likes.

The FFA ( and FHA) is a wonderful program for young people. It develops character and helps them to gain a sense of confidence and responsibility. You have every right to be proud of your grandson!

Your geraniums are a lovely gift- and a perfect welcome to spring!
