A Barrow Full Of Blooms

The First Sergeant (hubby) went shopping to our local DIY store this afternoon, and returned with a truck load of perennials.......
All marked down to one dollar a pot, twenty pots in all, a mixture of white and pink Coneflowers, and garnet colored Coreopsis.
Despite their end of season bedraggled appearance, I was over the moon, and can just imagine how pretty they will look in the beds next year.

Don't you just love a bargain !

They don't yet know how lucky they are to be in your lovely yard. I look forward to their magnificence.

what a deal, and i like them in the barrow. hubby found 2 beautiful half dead Christmas cactus in the trash can at the church, they now reside on our front porch and are 2 feet around.

We tend to enjoy bargain plants more than the ones we pay full price.

I would be over the moon too, at $2 a pot! Besides being beautiful, conefloweres drop SO many seeds that, in time, you will be transplanting them all over your place. It will be a cone flower heaven!
