A Slice Of Sunshine

If your looking for a quick, unassuming dessert one of my favorites is Frozen Lemonade Pie...
Refreshingly cool, and what could be simpler to make !

Prep Time: 3 hours
Total Time: 3 hours

1 large graham cracker pie crust
1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk, chilled
1 6-ounce can of frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
1 12 ounce container of Cool Whip, thawed
candied lemon peel for garnish (optional)

Beat together condensed milk and lemonade; fold in Cool Whip.
Pour into pie crust. Freeze for at least 3-4 hours until firm.
Makes 8 servings
Enjoy !

Well, Jo, at first glance I thought I love dense, like an English fruitcake. But then I saw the sweetened condensed milk and knew I'd love it.

Yum! This pie is one of my summertime favorites, too. I hadn't thought to make one this year, so will have to get the ingredients.

Looks really good! Wouldn't dare make it - I would have to eat the whole thing myself and I don't need the calories! :-)

Jo, Oh,yum! That looks so cool and delicious. I can't wait to make it. I'm behind on my comments as we went to NJ for the birth of our grandson. Thanks for you comments on the pineapple finials. I don't know where in the garden I'll put them yet so they're "visiting" by my front steps. :)
Have a great weekend,

Jo dear ~
Simple process...popped it
into the freezer and served
it as "soon as possible"
What a Summer winner! Think
I will try one with limeade.
Many thanks for sharing.
