Y'All Come

The First Sergeant and I enjoyed a toe-tapping weekend at the Grand Ole Opry.
A star-packed venue the two and a half hour show was packed with up and coming entertainers, and legends of the Grand Ole Opry alike.

I must confess, I was moved to tears, when Bobby Osborne sang the state song "Rocky Top", it brought the house down.

We plan to return, and make this a regular engagement.

Nothing can compare.

How delightful!! Country music isn't my favorite, but The Grand Old Opry is a long-time joy, especially "Rocky Top"!

So glad you and the 1st Sargent had a lovely time and will go again.

Hugs!

I bet that was a lot of fun. It is quite a concert for that long and you must be able to hear a lot of different artists.

Hubby and I have been twice now. We are planning to come to Nashville again this summer, just waiting for the perfect Opry lineup. My dream one would be Marty Stuart, Del Mccoury and Merle Haggard. Great pics

Sounds like you all had a blast. I grew up in Nashville. Going to the Opry was and is a sight to behold. You never know who will show up! So glad you all went.

Glad you had a night out. After all the pain of your knee op recently, you deserve it.
Happy Belated Easter to you.

Sounds like something to add to the 'gotta do' list. Not crazy about country music but I like some of all kinds of music.
