Caught Cat-Napping

Gentle eyes that see so much,
paws that have the quiet touch,
Purrs to signal "all is well"
and show more love than words could tell.
Graceful movements touched with pride,
a calming presence by our side --
A friendship that takes time to grow -
Small wonder why we love them so.

a very kissable face, and i am surprised he slept through the photo session. he is so very beautiful. and the poem says it all. pets, no matter what they are, dogs, cats, birds, even pigs give us love and happiness.

Well said. We do learn to love them so. I would love to reach in and kiss the face of Oliver.

Oh, that rosey nose! How precious. Is he keeping you company while you heal?

Oliver, when are you going to get your own blog? Your photos are wonderful. You'd have so many personal cat friends. (Mom says I have a lot more friends than she has.)

Darling Oliver in repose!

Love the poem, too. We have two tricolor (gray, white, tan) tabby cats, mother and son, and it's so true.

Hugs!

Sweet, sleepy Oliver. Such a cutie pie. There is nothing like a contented cat for comfort and peace.

What can I say Jo, I'm totally in love with Mr. Oliver!!! He has to be my favorite cat of all times. I'd love to hold him and scratch his cute little ears. Give him a big hug from me!

What a sweetie. Does he go outside in good weather or is he an indoor cat?
How are you feeling? Hope your knee is healing nicely. Have a good weekend... It's raining here.

I just love our Aussie Frankie, but there's nothing like a warm, sleeping cat on my lap to make me feel all is right with the world!

He is certainly a wonderful specimen of the cat world. I love ginger cats the best, although you should see my Millie. She is wonderful too and I mustn't forget dear little Patch, over in England. She's as sweet as sugar.

Oliver is such a pretty cat...in these pictures he reminds me of Marmalade and salt water taffy and ginger. What a life.
