And The Snow Came

It is close to midnight, we have feasted, celebrated, swapped baubles, and made merry.
The snow came.
No significant amount, just a dusting of the white stuff, enough to give the feeling of being a part in a picture postcard.
Snow on Christmas day, is there anything more magical !

"Christmas--that magic blanket that wraps itself about us,
that something so intangible that it is like a fragrance.
It may weave a spell of nostalgia.
Christmas may be a day of feasting, or of prayer,
but always it will be a day of remembrance--
a day in which we think of everything we have ever loved."
~ Augusta E. Rundell

Is that your garden? It looks like a park, wow and lots of snow. All you need is a lamp and you could be transported off to Narnia. There was snow in Knoxville too apparently so Tennessee was well covered. Yes, it is magical and very welcome on Christmas day especially.
Here we are getting tired of it. The pavements are the worst. They are absolutely treacherous.
Have a blessed Boxing Day!
Blessings, Star

Yesterday's snows didn't amount to much, It's doing it again, (and colder) I wonder what this will end up being? At least it isn't more ice!

It certainly was cool for it to snow while the kids were here

We had about this amount of snow on Christmas Day, but it started snowing again last night and now we're snow-bound. It is pretty, though.

Lovely picture, and just the right amount of snow. Christmas is lovely, whatever the weather, but snow does give it an extra sparkle.

Beautiful picture enhanced with the snow falling on the screen. We had a blizzard last Christmas. It was so bad that church services were cancelled. This year we had a thunderstorm Christmas Eve but the sun is shining here in Texas today with only a slight chill in the air.

Our snow started on Christmas day at 2pm and it is still snowing at nearly that time today, the 26th. What a magical touch to snow adds to Christmas!

Our Christmas festivities were wonderful, too!

Hugs!
