Wreath Hanging

I'm taking advantage of the splendid warm days we've been having lately and decorating for Fall while it's still shirt-sleeve weather.
I usually mix the Fall-themed decorations, with Halloween ghosts and goblins lurking in between.

There are signs of changing seasons everywhere.
Leaves turning reds, oranges and yellows. The fields are full of wild berries, Rose Hips, Wild Blueberries, Autumn Olive.

Sadly we've been without rain for almost a month now, the lawns are brown and parched.

"On the motionless branches of some trees, autumn berries hung like clusters of coral beads, as in those fabled orchards where the fruits were jewels . . .”

~ Charles Dickens

Could kick myself, for not making some grapevine wreaths! Your wreath is very festive!
No rain in the forecast and it's bad dry here.

Beautiful wreath! Look on the bright side of not having any rain here in TN. you don't have to mow the yard as often. :)

What a lovely wreath! The leaves are beginning to turn here, too, and thousands of nuts are like ball-bearings all over the ground.

We need rain badly, too. Shall we join in a rain dance?

Hugs!

It almost seems as if summer has returned here on the Plateau. Very warm. We have been try as well, but the sky has been an incredible blue during the day. I really like your wreath.

Beautiful wreath!
Today we are getting much needed rain. Thank goodness. Everything was starting to get crunchy.

Sorry you have not had rain - we had lots! With our real hot summer tho our fall is looking to be a week or two late - all is still green here.

What a lovely wreath, Jo. It's the perfect fall accent. We dry as a bone here in Florida too.

I know what you mean about the dry, brown grass. Thankfully, we've had some good rain the last two weeks. That wreathe is just beautiful :)

The wreath is perfect on that wooden door. I think it would even make brown grass look good!

Gorgeous wreath. Our weather has been weird of late, rain, rain and more rain. Not what the Gold Coast is famous for.

That wreath is gorgeous. Well we have had plenty of rain, sun and wind too. Quite a mixed bag really and not too cold thankfully.

Hope the lawn recovers soon. It's awful when they turn brown. Doesn't happen often here mind you.

So very "warm" and welcoming. I love autumn, and I think you've captured its beauty wonderfully in this wreath!
