Love it.... Hope you are staying COOL. We finally got a little rain on Sunday (1/2 inch). We still need more--but we'll take what we can get. Hugs, Betsy
Jo, I photographed a butterfly like that and it took some time. Each time I'd just about get the shot, it would move to the other side of the flower. It would not cooperate. And, how did it even know I was trying to photograph it?
I love this quote and the picture too!! We are seeing a lot of butterflies this year, and I'm not sure if there are more, or if I'm just noticing them, but I'm glad they're around. ~Hope your week is going well!~
You take such beautiful pictures...this one is no exception. I love Hans Christian Anderson too...words of wisdom. I hope it has cooled of in Tennessee...will you be going 'home' this year? Enjoy your day. Hugs from Me :)
I love and enjoy all flowers. This shot you shared today is remarkable with the pretty butterfly. You did a great job on capturing him as they are too fast for me.
LOVE this posting and the Anderson quote! I have seen SO many tiger swallowtails here in Maryland at my home this week - they love our crepe myrtle blossoms! Cassandra ♥

Gorgeous photograph. I love Swallowtails.
We were in Ohio last week and saw a butterfly about the same size. It was iridescent blue and brown.
What a beautiful picture you got there! I stared at it with admiration for at least a minute...
Lovely!

A beautiful swallowtail on the coneflowers. I caught a shot of one the other day. It was my first ever picture of one. Your photo is wonderful.
