Among The Trees

The linden, in the fervors of July
Hums with a louder concert.
When the wind Sweeps the broad forest in its summer prime,
As when some master-hand exulting sweeps
The keys of some great organ, ye give forth
The music of the woodland depths, a hymn Of gladness and of thanks."

~ William Cullen Bryant, Among the Trees

Beautiful picture and poem, Jo.... I sit on my deck and just look up at all of the huge shade trees in our back yard... They are just so magnificent.

Have a good week... Rain is coming!!! Yeah!

Jo, my soul always finds rest at your front porch. From the sweet and restful music to the poetry and absolutely wonderful pictures where the very hand of God has just swept by.

Thank you, thank you and thank you.
