I was also ringing my bell at 2 PM--It seemed so loud in the silence of the afternoon so I'm hoping its ring has sent positive & healing energy!!

Have no idea about the time difference! so have probably missed the deadline. However I shall go to the station house in the morning and sound the old fire bell! and when they ask why I shall tell them. We all know of someone touched by this and my thoughts and prayers go out to all of them.

Wilow: Mine was clanging at the top of it's clang! I even scared the cat away.

Ash Tree Cottage: The more the louder, great !

Betsy : Lol...you may have done, at least half of my neighborhood must have wondered what the heck

Brian Miller: ! Good Job, there is always strength in numbers ;)

Betsy: I think I heard your bell :)
Yes, Barry, we are all pulling for you.

Kim: Great that you could join in.
I'm sure Barry heard it.

Kipling: Friend, what a wonderful gesture, I just hope they don;t think it's a fire somewhere !
You are correct, we have all been affected by this horrible disease in some way or another. My own dad succumbed to its destruction at the young age of 58 years old.

Bless you for your kind thoughts. As someone who has been beside a cancer victum for 19 months I can't tell you how much loving thoughts help all of us "get thru". Its so exhausting and truely helps to know others are thinking of you. I was out at "bell time" but you have surely put a smile on my face tonight...thanks...Carol & Jim in TN

What a wonderful thing to do, and I am sending my clanging bell your way (his way) and to Barry. Everyone who fights cancer is a friend.

Carol: Yes I know you have been the primary caretaker of Jim, as he deals with his cancer. Our thoughts and prayers are surely with you both, I rang that bell extra hard, for all of those fighting their own battle.
[Hugs to you both},
Jo

Snapper ll: Thank you my friend, you came through!

DJan: Thank you for the clang ! I heard it all the way from the Pacific Northwest....

This is the first time I have visited your blog. Your pictures and words are beautiful. I don't have a bell, but I will be praying for Barry and all with cancer. Blessings to you and all of them.

Anonymous: Carole, thank you for visiting, and your kind comments.
I'm sure Barry would appreciate any show of support, as would all the other cancer patients fighting the challenge of their lives.

It is a very kind gesture. I must have three different followers who are Barry's friend.
