A Serving Of Ginger.

What greater gift than the love of a cat?
~Charles Dickens

"Oliver" seems to have made himself quite at home these days.
Be it making himself comfortable
laying in a wicker serving tray.....
Or, sitting in his favorite spot in the kitchen......

Or, snoozing in his favorite chair, dreaming of infinite fields of tasty mice.. .............
You'd think he's lived here all of his life!
The rythym of the house just seems right once more.

I sooo love cats but my kids are allergic so no can do. I do miss having a cat of my lap, warm and purring away. Dogs just aren't the same.

I am sure that Oliver only needs to look out of the window to realise how well off he is inside the house.

What a regal cat! So dignified!

I have always liked yellow cats. Over the years there has been Butterscotch and Big Yellow and Mr. Orange (okay - not the most creative but .... heh!!). These cats have made life nicer.

My most recent yellow cat was one named Bad Cat -- I won't bore you with the story but he earned his name!

Most of the cats in my life have usually been tabby cats or black and white or tortoise shell. But the yellow cats have always been among my favorites.

Take care.

You have a stunningly beautiful blog.
I once had a neighbor who was a war bride, who taught my daughter how to drink English tea. The neighbor was from Ipswich.
Just love your blog always wanted to see England.

I've just found you and could happily climb into every picture and an enjoying the music you've chosen.

Your Oliver is a master of finding comfort as are our cats, Boots and Tom. They both are grey tabbies.

Yes, please put the kettle on. It will take me a while to get there from Virginia, tho!

I'll be back!

Guess we know who's in charge at your house! Can't blame, we're much more trainable than they are, aren't we.

Oliver is king of his castle. He sure knows how to relax. We still have our one yellow kitty, who is getting to be so old. A nice blog about Oliver.

What a handsome ginger, Jo. Babooshka had a ginger friend where we last lived. Fintan would jump onto the roof outside the window and start meowing. Hearing him, Babooshka would race to the window sill and the two of them would touch paws through the glass. Cats, what would we do without them? :) Lizzy
