No matter what season of the year, you'll find candles burning in my home.
I'm drawn like a moth to the flame, they comfort me, console me, wrap me in their warm glow.
Autumn is my favorite season , I already have the Autumn Spices candles burning.
The smell is intoxicatingly heady.
Nothing says "Welcome Home" better than the soft glow of a burning spiced-candle.

That is a lovely photo and candles are wonderful. Just love that soft glow for one thing, and a favorite sense is as you describe so perfectly, intoxicating.

Oh Jo----I love candles!!!! I used to light them most every night---but then I kinda got out of the habit. Since I don't have a 'live' Christmas tree anymore, I burn candles which smell like 'pine' at Christmas...

Oh such beautiful candles Jo. We used to light candles all the time but then lately not as much. I am going to make a really nice dinner and have candles everywhere tonight. Thanks for the inspiration, again and again!

I like candles too but I'm such a div I leave them burning and forget about them. Reached a point where I'll have to stop lighting them unless I'm staying in.

We burn them from autumn through winter almost every night.
But be careful...many fires start this way.
one of my best friends house's just had a major fire from one of her votives catching on fire. It was awful and they lost most of their home that way.
