Two Happy Pumpkins...

The birthday/retirement celebration was a memorable day for us, yesterday. A little sad perhaps, to close an era, yet exciting to know we will forever be a part of the military community.
At some point the torch has to be passed.

After returning home from the base, we celebrated a quiet evening with family members. We lit the fireplace, burned the candles, and ate Devil's Food chocolate cake and ice cream.
In all, a lovely day.
Thank you for all of your lovely comments and well-wishes, they were sincerely appreciated.

Tonight, were out on the town !

Congratulations on making this milestone. I got confused and thought that this was somebody else's 60th birthday and I am glad to find out that I didn't actually dream it! Isn't it wonderful to find you have so many friends? You really do, along with all your followers...
